This "live work" modern cabin is a small, accessory dwelling structure that will serve as a work space in addition to a potential guest home. A clear separation between the private space and the work space had to be differentiated, while making the best use of this small space. The kitchen will be concealable during work hours using hidden door hardware, taking advantage of a sleek pocket design to make it look part of the casework. Exposed timber framing and thermally separated glazing units will make this cabin feel light, warm, and airy. This cabin will be the first of three structures in a phased project.
