This condo was originally built in the mid 1970s in the John's Landing area. With views of the Willamette River, there was a lot of potential to modernize this space for contemporary living. The interior was gutted, with some partition and load bearing walls removed and added in order to improve circulation in the condo, as well as increase the amount of natural light. We worked with Warmboard to install hydronic radiant flooring throughout the entire lower floor and in the master bedroom suite, using a ceramic tile that mimics wood. Work on this condo started in late 2019 and was completed in 2021.
Location: Portland, OR
Area: 2505 ft²
Status: Completed 2021

The two story atrium space is naturally illuminated with a large skylight. We opened up the kitchen wall to improve the flow of the plan.
